Expired Codes Archive
These codes no longer work — use our Working Codes page for active rewards.
Promo codes in Build A Blue Lock Squad have a limited lifespan. Developers at The LockerRoom release codes to celebrate milestones, updates, and community growth — but once a code expires, it cannot be redeemed regardless of how you enter it. This page archives every known expired code so you can stop wasting time on outdated lists floating around YouTube, TikTok, and fan wikis.
For codes that still work right now, head to our Working Codes page. As of July 2026, active codes include ELUSIVE, OneThousandCCU, and OneThousandMembers. If you found a code online that is not on either page, it may never have existed — stick to official sources listed on our Discord & Community Links page.
Why Codes Expire
Roblox gacha games typically retire promo codes after a set period or once a milestone event ends. Build A Blue Lock Squad follows this pattern. Launch codes like RELEASE and FirstPatch were designed for early adopters and were retired once the player base stabilized. Milestone codes like FourtyThousandVisits and FiveHundredMembers expired after their celebration windows closed.
There is no in-game notification when a code expires — you simply get an error when attempting redemption. That is why maintaining an accurate expired archive matters for the community.
Confirmed Expired Codes
The following codes are confirmed expired and will not grant any rewards:
| Code | Original Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| DUELS | PvP mode celebration | Expired |
| SpiriXSolos | Creator milestone | Expired |
| FiveHundredMembers | 500 group members | Expired |
| FourtyThousandVisits | 40K game visits | Expired |
| RELEASE | Launch celebration | Expired |
| FirstPatch | First update reward | Expired |
| IceCreamParty | Seasonal event | Expired |
Do not attempt to redeem these. Even with correct group membership and perfect spelling, expired codes return invalid or expired errors in the Settings menu.
How to Tell If a Code Is Expired
If you enter a code through the How to Redeem process and receive an error, check three things in order: (1) Are you in The LockerRoom Roblox group? (2) Did you type the code with correct capitalization? (3) Is the code listed on our Working Codes page? If the first two check out and the code is not on the working list, it is almost certainly expired.
Outdated content is a major problem in Roblox wiki spaces. Videos titled “ALL CODES 2026” often bundle expired codes with active ones, leading players to think broken codes should still work. Trust only live sources — the official Roblox group, Discord, and this wiki.
What Replaced These Codes
Many expired milestone codes have spiritual successors. FiveHundredMembers was followed by OneThousandMembers, which is currently active and grants 10 rerolls and 5 refreshes. FourtyThousandVisits has no direct replacement yet, but CCU milestone codes like OneThousandCCU serve a similar purpose.
The ELUSIVE code ties to the latest ELUSIVES Update and is the most generous active code available. After major updates, developers often drop new codes — watch our Updates Hub and Patch History for announcements.
Avoiding Fake and Scam Codes
Build A Blue Lock Squad has no official Trello board. Websites claiming to host a “secret Trello” with unlimited codes are not affiliated with The LockerRoom. Never enter your Roblox password on third-party sites, and never download executables promising infinite rerolls — see our Scripts Safety Guide for why automation carries ban risk.
Legitimate codes always come from official channels: the Roblox group, Discord server, or in-game event announcements. If a code requires you to complete a survey or download software first, it is not real.
What to Do Instead of Chasing Expired Codes
Focus your energy on sources that actually work. Redeem all three active codes from the Working Codes page, then stack free rerolls through liking the game, favoriting it, joining the group, and talking to the Sendou NPC in the lobby — full details in our Free Rerolls guide.
Daily quest completion adds another steady reroll stream — see Daily Quests. Smart reroll management from our Reroll Strategy guide ensures you convert every pull into squad OVR gains rather than wasted rolls on commons.
When hunting for top characters like NEL Isagi, NEL Rin, Kaiser, and Barou, consult the Tier List and Best Characters pages so you know exactly what to keep when a reroll finally hits.
Staying Ahead of Expirations
We remove codes from the working list the moment they expire and add them here. Bookmark both pages and check after every update. The ELUSIVES Update is the latest major patch — new codes often accompany content drops of that scale.
Join the community through Discord & Community Links to get real-time notifications when codes go live or retire. Being first to redeem means you never lose rewards to expiration windows you did not know about.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Does the DUELS code still work in 2026?
No. DUELS is confirmed expired and will not grant any rerolls or refreshes.
Can expired codes come back?
Occasionally developers reactivate codes for special events, but this is rare. Treat all codes on this page as permanently expired unless announced otherwise.
Why do YouTube videos show codes that do not work?
Many creators reuse outdated code lists for views. Always verify against our Working Codes page before attempting redemption.
What happened to the RELEASE and FirstPatch codes?
Both were launch-era celebration codes that expired shortly after the game's initial release and early patches.
Is there a way to recover rewards from an expired code?
No. Once a code expires, there is no way to claim its rewards retroactively. Focus on currently active codes instead.
How do I know when a working code is about to expire?
The LockerRoom typically announces code expirations on Discord and the Roblox group. Follow our Updates hub for wiki-side tracking.
